6 Hidden Bars in Las Vegas and Where to Find Them.

Behind all the gambling Bar Machines, Nightclubs, Casino Bars, and noise there are some great hidden spots to enjoy a cocktail. You might have already walked by some of these places but didn't think to check out what's happening. Maybe you did a Google search and read about these places, Or these are new venues that recently opened that you never heard about. Las Vegas is loaded with great hole-in-the-wall bars and with so much variety of nightlife to choose from. Here's a short list of 6 Hidden Bars in Las Vegas and Where To Find Them.

1. The Cabinet of Curiosities - If you are into puzzle solving and Speakeasy types of bars, then you must visit The Cabinet of Curiosities. Located on the underground floor of Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (Which will rebrand into Horseshoe Casino in December 2022). The bar has cabinets of objects from around the world and the mixologist will create exclusive hand-crafted cocktails, as you solve puzzles throughout the venue. If you look around hard enough you might notice a big door, this will lead into their speakeasy called The Lock.

The Underground Speakeasy and Distillery - You'll definitely be in for a treat when learning about organized crime at the Mob Museum, but did you know they also have a hidden SpeakEasy at the bottom of the museum? travel back in time to the prohibition era while enjoying live music and drinks. Be sure to know the updated password every week so you are ensured entry.

3. The Sand Dollar at Plaza - One of the most iconic vegas bars since 1976, The sand dollar is filled with live entertainment of blues music and had many famous musicians come to hang out here when visiting. in 2015, the Sand Dollar was bought and revived by Nathan Grates & Anthony Jamison where they added their twist of love for craft drinks and live music. In May 2022, they opened their new 2nd location which is inside the Plaza Hotel.

4. Downtown Cocktail Room & Mike Morey's  sip' n 'tip - If you are looking for great happy hour cocktail specials and an upscale intimate setting, then you must come to Downtown Cocktail Room. Located in the Fremont East Entertainment District, Their happy hour is Tuesday through Saturday 5pm - 7pm (Half Price on everything). Connected next door is Mike Morey's Sip' n 'Tip, a more simplistic and fun vibe to enjoy drinks on their side.

You can find the entrance in a hidden area located at the  "art Alley" located south of the Downtown Cocktail Room

5. Mas Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila - Located in the heart of Chinatown, have a taste of authentic street tacos at all hours of the night. There also lies a door that leads you through a secret tunnel to their Speak Easy Parlor. They have a Live Dj and a cozy intimate setting for you to sit back while sipping on their signature tequila cocktails.

6. Cork and Thorn - This hidden bar is located in the Arts District of LAs Vegas. this florally designed bar is owned by Randi Garrett (Who is also a professional florist). They serve a wide variety of wines and spirits from all over the world. Every week they play live music and even host Floral Design classes. Cork and Thorn was also featured on Bar Rescue's Season 8 in the midst of Las Vegas recovering from the pandemic.
